Your questions... answered
How do I contact you?
Who do you work with?
Individuals 18 and over, all genders.
How long will my sessions be?
Sessions generally will run 50-60 minutes.
How much does therapy cost?
Sessions cost $150 and I have limited sliding scale spaces for those who are experiencing serious financial challenges. I accept payment by e-transfer, debit or credit card. Payment is due before each session. I am happy to offer a 30-40 minute session at no cost for your initial visit.
Do you take insurance?
I am not set up to bill insurance directly at this point. You are responsible for payment and seeking reimbursement from your plan. Some insurance companies, including the federal public service, will cover services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist.
How do I know if this is a 'good fit'?
It is a common experience to feel anxiety about your first session and it may be difficult to have a good sense of the fit until you have done a few sessions. A good fit will mean you feel comfortable enough to ask questions about your therapy or to negotiate changes in direction.
Can I see you in person?
In person sessions will be available according to the directives of public health. Clients who wish to have in-person sessions will be required to follow public health requirements in terms of distancing and use of masks. There is also the option of sessions via telephone or secure video conferencing.
